Hey everyone!

I was just searching around for answers to this. Found something similar, but it was for people who were trying to use expressions and/or articulations with older files. In contrast to that, however, I just updated to v27.4 on my end (have had v27 for about a month or two now) and even with a score I just created, both dialog boxes are showing up blank. With the expressions box, even the categories list shows up as blank. Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

(Thanks,
Joseph)

You might have to do a clean reinstall. This solved my problem of an empty Plugins folder.

A PITA, but it worked…

Close any open applications
Open a new Finder Window
Choose Go > Applications from the Finder Toolbar at the top of the computer screen
In the Applications folder, find your "Finale" icon and drag it to the Trash
Locate any "Finale" icons on your Dock and move them to the Trash as well
In the Finder program toolbar, choose Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy & paste the following location:
~/Library/Preferences
Press RETURN
In this Preferences folder, find a file named "com.makemusic.finale27.fprf". Drag it into the Trash
In the Finder program toolbar, choose Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy & paste the following location:
~/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic
Press RETURN
Verify that you have no personal files in the "Finale 27" folder (or its sub-folders)
Drag the "Finale 27" folder to the Trash
In the Finder program toolbar, choose Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy & paste the following location:
/Library/Application Support/MakeMusic
Press RETURN
Drag the "Finale 27" folder to the Trash
Empty your Trash
Restart your computer
Re-install Finale by downloading it from your MakeMusic account
Relaunch Finale and see if the issue has been resolved

I genuinely hate to ask you this, but do you happen to know how to do the same for Windows?
