The other MAJOR shortcoming of this Center is the absence of system/version identification. The first response to any "real" problems posted here will inevitably be: (1) what OS are you using, in what version? (2) what Finale version do you use? (3) What audio/MIDI interface do you have?

Massive waste of time until these details can be added individually to our MakeMusic user profiles. (Also what the other guy said about using gray text on a slightly less gray background - might as well make the text invisible!)

And another thing - listing threads in reverse order of DATE CREATED conceals the true activity of the forum. To do that you must list them by time and date of MOST RECENT COMMENT.

I realize that one can resort the posts by most recent activity (which would include comments), but I find I have to check post after post to find out when the most recent comment was added. This information needs to appear on the top contents screen. I am sad to say I think you picked the wrong program to host this forum. The Steinberg (i.e. Dorico) forum has a much more informative contents page.

The result of not allowing comments on your blog posts and moving to this forum software is almost certainly driving people away from your customer outreach and must ultimately affect support for your software too. I do not want to see this. Please make changes!

I have noticed that the Finale Forum wizards are not touching this new Help Center.

Make it simple to upload files to be viewed and trouble shot by the user base. The MM staff have no time for common problems and issues which the great user base can handle.
