 Finale 2014.5.  Windows 8.1. 

I'm sure this is a setting somewhere, but why does the human playback ignore 2 bar repeats and what do I do to fix it?

If you are talking about the staff style which looks like %, keep in mind that the symbol is purely graphical.

If you want to hear the repeated 2 bars, you first have to copy them and paste them in that region, then apply the staff style.

Otherwise, the measures will actually be empty, and there will be no playback.

Thanks for the insights.  As with all software programs, Finale has its quirks.  This is just one of them.  I appreciate you taking time to enlighten me.
