I'm using a Windows Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10 installed.  The screen resolution is at 2160 x 1440 (default).  When I use Finale, either the 2012 version I have, or with 25's 30-day trial, the palette sizes/buttons are extremely small.  This makes them totally unusable in a touch screen setting.

I've already selected the "large" size in the program options, but the change was barely noticeable.  I've tried adjusting the screen resolution, but that has no effect.  I've attempted to customize various aspects of Windows' screen options, but those made no difference either.

Is there a confirmed solution to this problem?

If not, perhaps a future update could include palettes that can be dragged to a custom size - something like clicking on a corner of the palette, and expanding or contracting it as desired, with the buttons/tools within it changing size accordingly.

I have exact the same "problem" with my HP 360 Convertible! Resolution is so high Finale 25 is useless on this device. I can't see the buttons (let alone touch them with the fingers) even if I have selected Large size buttons... and tried to change the resolution in Win 10 display settings. The buttons are the same (small) size. Sigh... not going to use F25 on it until this is fixed.

There's a workaround for this problem that's described in this article--a permanent fix is still under investigation on our end.

Thanks for the reply Malcolm. The workaround solved the issue in Finale but made all my other programs very tiny. For instance Outlook and Chrome... So I guess it solved one problem but created others. I hope you will fix this as I am not able to use Finale on my new HP Convertible as it is now.

When I use that workaround everything within Finale becomes huge to the point some windows within the program are unusable.  For example, if I load the preferences window I cannot see the entire window nor can I scroll to reach portions of it cut off by the screen.

This affects other programs as well; while Finale is open, no other window can be fully displayed and there is no way to scroll or move around to reach cut off portions.  Upon closing Finale this problem goes away, but everything on the screen becomes extremely small.
