It would be nice if this new forum would be lots of things. Gone would get my vote.

This new "forum" is a wretched useless mess.  Give us the old one back.  I see no chance this format will give my any useful information for the problems I run into from time to time.

Have you tried using the Search box in the gray stripe at the top of the screen?

The search function on the Old Forum did not work. One had to use a special feature of Google to find anything; that is even documented in a sticky post.

This forum is not perfect. MM has said it is not going to go back to former forum. They have made some improvements based on user input. I hope they make more.

You can help make this one better or you can keep whining, which only wastes your time and everyone else's.

I was referring to the help menu search function, which was fully capable in the old system, and I find nothing in the new system that works nearly as well.  The search function in the old forum could have been improved, but there was no need to throw the baby out with the bath water.  If there is a viable search function in the nee forum, I haven't found it yet.  The "improvement" would be to go back to the prior system and fix the few minor problems in it, such as providing a global search function.

Are you a shill being paid by Make Music to make excuses for this disaster?
