Hi, I have just installed Finale 25 on my Mac with El capitan 10.11.6. Since then I have had problems with mouse positioning. With simple edit, when I click one bar the note positions itself two bars before. I have tried different mouses to the same result. No other program seems to have this behaviour. Bug or am I doing something stupid?

I have that problem in a few applications if I expand the screen view. Google Docs and FaceBook are the worst. I've not experienced this in Finale, however nor have I expanded the screen view. I'm on my iPad now and won't be on my Mac for a few hours.

in the mean time, what Mac are you on? What mouse?

I have a MacBook Pro. I have tried 2 different mouses and the "internal" mouse with the same effect. The screen view doesnt seem to matter either...

After some further investigation it seems that the error is most frequent on documents that have been created with earlier versions of Finale, but I can't say this for sure though... There seems to be something fishy...

I just upgraded to v. 25 and switched from Windows 10 to Mac (OS 10.10.5) and am experiencing the same problem.  Your post is from a year ago -- has there been any update and/or resolution since then?  Thank you.

As you say it is more than a year ago. I think this was a memory issue, too many things rolling at the same time, especially Studo One.
