So I'm making a violin score for something I'm recording. I noticed that now all of a sudden my dotted half notes aren't ringing for 3 beats anymore. Also, when i use a slide between two notes, only the note that's being slid into registers. The first note and slide is completely muted. Thought maybe it was just a playback issue so I went ahead and exported to MIDI and plugged into pro tools and alas, in my MIDI edit window I can see that the hald note ends abruptly and the original note for the slide doesn't exist. I didn't have this issue in the past so I'm at a complete loss.

If you are using chords (I know, unlikely) be sure the chords are not assigned to the same instrument/MIDI channel as the melodic instrument they are coupled with.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, no. I'm only creating a violin melody that will go over tracks I previously recorded. It's actually the only MIDI Line I'm using which is why I'm so stumped as to why this is happening so randomly
