So this 14.5 automatically transposes pasted music into some register it thinks is appropriate for the destination staff.  It's always wrong, in my work so far, and I don't want Finale to editorialize what I'm doing, as if I'm an idiot.  I want Finale to copy and paste exactly as it used to and exactly as I want it to – I don't need the "help."

Does anyone know how to turn off this automatic transposition "feature?"

 

Mac OSX Version 10.9.5

Finale 14.5

Hi Frederick

 

Edit->Preferences->Edit->Respect instrument ranges when copying or changing instruments. (turn it off)
