(This is directed to the Community, as my gear is legacy.)

In this string quintet arrangement, none of these problems happen when I just export the entire piece as one audio file from Finale into my DAW (Reason 11).  But I want to tweak the individual volumes, panning, etc., in Reason more than Finale's parameters allow, and use Reason's great mastering effects.  To preserve Finale's awesome Human Playback and avoid all the editing a MIDI file would require, I'm sending each part individually as an audio file to Reason.  This is to make the audio even more commercially viable than it already is; the sheet music is already great.

However, because I haven't been able to get them to sync yet, I have only exported two parts (Violin 1 and 2).  I import them into Reason, and make them Track 1 and 2 in the sequencer, with no Snap.  They have a common starting point, and I use Reason's Stretch to line up both of their endings within a thousandth of a beat (if I'm reading the screen correctly).  But, around 1:30, their tempos begin to diverge, and afterward are between a 16th- and a 32nd-note out-of-sync (there seems to be some phasing).  If I didn't know better, I'd think there was some kind of proprietary protection that forces them out-of-sync fhere.  No matter what I do, that is the point where they lose it.

I have cleared all the obvious tempo changes from the original file--a ritard and a couple of fermatas.  I have left the Articulation Marks and Expressions in for Human Playback.  The "phantom 128th note" that arbitrarily shows up in measure 1, in some scores, doesn't seem to be an issue.  Both audio files are 3:41:335 minutes long.

Finale's Sync and Video Options are left on Internal Sync.  I've had to change Reason's tempo to 89.999, though Finale's is 90.  Actually, I'm not sure if that helps, as playbacks seem to vary each time.

I almost never quantize in Finale--this is a quintet (i.e., there are septuplet runs, etc.); not a march, but I tried it here and it didn't help.

Correct — it's been long depreciated by Propelerhead who changed their names to Reason Studios at the time. Other than that, you've given us no information that would allow anyone to be able to help you.

I have tried the same thing with Ableton and could not get the parts, instruments, to sync so I gave up after a while of frustration. It seems it always went south somewhere. But I am not very smart so I just assigned it to that.
