finale 2008.  mac 10.10.5

 

the piece is ready to go.  in scroll view everything is there.  in PAGE VIEW, the last measure does not appear, not even all alone on a new page.  it just isn't there.  i'm stumped!  if anyone can help, i need to upload this score asap.  thank you in advance.

Update the layout - Command/U. Or simply shut down Finale and restart.

 

You're using Finale 2008 on Mac 10.10.5. That may be stretching it a bit. Make Music does not support this combination. Don't know whether this has anything to do with your problem.

I am having the same problem and it is driving me CRAZY. Updating the layout makes the last page appear but as soon as I make any change to the document the last page disappears again and I have to update AGAIN. I have to hit command U after every move of the mouse to keep bringing the last page back. I have tried trashing my preferences but it does not fix the problem.

You didn't mention what version of Finale you're using, but have you tried in your preferences turning on "auto update layout"?
