Finale 2014.5, Windows 10

Whem i click Expression tool finale stopped working. I reinstaled final and problem reamain.  This is the same with old an new files. Other tools work fine.

Hey All,

 

It sounds like you may be experiencing some corrupt preferences. Resetting Finale's preferences will help with this issue. You can do so in Finale 2014.5 on Windows by following the steps below:

 

1. Exit Finale.
2. Hold down your Windows key and press the letter R to open the Run dialog box.
3. Type "%appdata%" (without quotation marks) and click OK.
4. Navigate to MakeMusic\Finale 2014.5.
5. Find and delete these two files (please feel free to make copies of these old preference files to your Desktop before deleting them; you can delete them later if it turns out they were the issue.):

 

FINALE.ini
FINMIDI.ini

 

6. Empty your Recycle Bin.
7. Restart your computer.
8. Relaunch Finale.
