I scanned in a 3/4 piece with out the key signature posted.
Finale recognized the piece in 4/4
I can't change the key signature because it won't delete the extra beat at the end of every measure.
how do I take "1 beat" out?
Could you scan in an initial (created) page with the same instrumentation, a 3/4 key signature, and blank staves and then delete the blank measures later?
Unless you saved the raw scans of the initial pages, that might mean re-scanning the entire piece, otherwise you should be able to combine the pages in a recognition list before re-recognizing.
That's the best solution I can think of off the top of my head.
