Finale 2014.5 on El Capitan

the dynamics seem to be working fine except for a piano line in treble clef that comes in on measure 34. it's marked at ppp but it's sounding very loud.I have quit Finale and relaunched, i have hit the "stop" button on the playback window multiple times (i was told to do this when an instrument didn't change), but to no avail.

I just purchased 2014 print music and only 1 dynamic is possible within my 12-instrument score. If measure 5 is forte for instrument 1, the same dynamic occurs for ALL other instruments even though they are marked pianissimo. what is up??
