I am using Finale 2014 on Windows 10. I was working on a piece for hours last night and saved multiple times throughout. However, I put my computer down and got up for a minute, and when I came back my computer had shut itself off. I turned my computer back on and tried opening my file, but only received a message saying "enigma error -200." Is there any way of getting my file to open?

Good afternoon. I have the same problem as the friend who has placed this text:

If you put your computer down "for a minute" it probably shut down because it ran out of power. Under these circumstances the shutdown may not follow normal procedures, so it is not surprising the file suffered.

I exported a XML file and openned it then saved it again under the same name. IT SEEMS TO WORK, so far, but ITS NOT

GUARANTEED. I do not want to be resposible for loosing your jobs. Try it at your own risk, if you like.
