I am guessing Aria can be considered a VST instrument. How does one discover its VST ID Number to list in a whitelist?
Friend,
Don't know if I am helping or hindering, but since there is such a flood of responses, please try this as an option... May be a simpler way, but...
Download Reaper DAW.
Install the shareware and in the preferences for vst directories, have it scan the location where the Aria dll is installed to.
Once recognized, Aria will be registered in the reaper-plugins.ini file. Will have to search your hard drive for this file in the computer labyrinth. Don't remember if Aria is 32 or 64 bit, but in case, ID may be in the reaper-plugins64.ini file.
Last file scanned is the last in the list (open the file with Notepad or equivalent). This will list the VST ID Number as well as other identifiers.
Best,
John
For any others who are interested, the folks at Plogue (maker of the Aria engine) were kind enough to help with this on their Forum at
