Here's another little problem that I can't seem to solve!  When I attach a file using ScoreMerger, the instrument name appears to the left of the 1st staff in the part.  I'd like to get rid of it.  Any suggestions?  Thanks, Douglas

Staff Attributes : under Items to display, is Staff Name in Parts checked ? It shouldn't be.

Hi, Michel,

Thanks so much for getting back.  Yes, the Staff Names in Parts is not checked.  I did find a fix . . . see if this makes sense to you.  Under Measure Attributes I went to Behavior, and unclicked Show full staff and group names.  It worked, but I'm not sure why.  I've been using Finale for about 30 years now, and I've learned to take my victories where I find them!
