I have PrintMusic 2011 running on Windows 11.  I have used it fine for years, but suddenly I find the Playback is not working, also the note does not sound when I enter it by Simple Entry.  If I click on Go on playback, all the other non-playback buttons grey out until I click Stop, but still no sound.

Step 1: Restart Finale. If it still doesn’t work…

Step 2: SHUT DOWN and restart your computer.

Yes, I did both of those.  No change. Strangely, if I select one of the buttons in the row underneath (staff, key, measure, simple entry, etc) then sometimes one single note sounds.

I also have a problem with playback not working.  When I click on "start playback", not only is there no sound, but also the curser does not move over the Finale file showing which measure is being played.
