Finale 25.1.0.232 Mac CApitan

Does anyone know how to reach the "direct access to our support team online or by phone?" If it is available, it is very well hidden. If a question is not addressed in the forums and so on, how else does one get answers? Thanks in advance to anyone who knows!

FWIW, my problem is that my MIDI keyboard plays random notes that won't turn off in speedy entry mode. I can just keep pressing one key, and it will keep adding different notes to this crazy cluster. Some success with restarting, but that gets annoying when you have work to do. Also surprisingly hard to ask the right question to get anything relevant...

Have you tried the "Submit a request" link above? It's not as direct as a phone call, but it's worth a try.

I tried that, and I'll just have to wait. They say on the main Finale troubleshooting site that there is direct access online or by phone, which suggests something more like chat in real time, or an 800 number. It is intensely frustrating to sit here watching the hours tick by as deadlines approach! But thanks for trying!

I don't mean to sound trite, but if your MIDI kbd is "playing random notes" then you need to get a new one. If the problem is in your MIDI interface then likewise, fix that. Over many decades experiencing problems in Finale, the generation of random MIDI input notes has never been a fault in the software.

Nothing wrong with my kbd. And the problem of notes playing endlessly until you hit "all notes off" is as old as Finale. I don't know what's up with the Instant John Cage feature, but again, the keyboard works everywhere else, so it would be odd if it only acted up when I was entering notes in Finale...

I looked under the Finale Notation Software pull-down and there is no phone number given? Someone please post the phone number here! Thanks,

Thanks, Adrian. My request is for them to look to find my registration of Finale 2011. The problem is that I have no way to upgrade to Finale 25. I tried, and though my name and address have not changed, they do not recognize me as the owner since my email address changed. My registration is for MFNR-$%^&*$# Any suggestions? Thanks, Frank (Francis L Fitzpatrick,-)

Do not put your registration number on this forum (can cause you security problems)!

Send MM your new e-mail in the "Submit a request" link so they can contact you via your e-mail.
