Select the part, apply Utilities -> Music  Spacing, then Update Layout.

But why should you have to do that when you choose 4 or 5 measures per line under manage parts.   There are many other glitches with extracting parts such as differing note sizes, no multi-measure rests when chosen in manage parts and not centered page 2+ titles when already chosen to be centered; redoing that fixes the in center issue.
