Recently, when I would add more lyrics or change them, very odd characters (looks a bit like Chinese) would also show up in the lyrics line.  This happens every time, no exceptions.  They are on the screen, and when I print.  I would love to have the money to update to version 25 today, but that won't be for a few months.  And I have some compositions that need to be turned in very soon.  I would like to try re-installing Finale 2014d.v5030, but don't have the original file to do that and I'm not sure who to contact to get a copy.  I have the most recent updates of Windows 10 on a Toshiba Satellite L875D with 6gb RAM.  Any suggestions, please?

Check that you have only the most current versions of your fonts installed and in the default location. Most of these problems can be traced to having older versions of the fonts installed as well. Find them and purge.

 

2014 is still supported. You might want to give MM a call.
