Finale crashing anytime I double click in the Staff Expression tool---crashes immediately and all unsaved work is lost.

This is a known issue with Finale 2014d and previous builds on MacOS X 10.11.6. This is fixed by downloading the free Finale 2014.5 maintenance updates from your MakeMusic account page. After installing the update, restart your computer. This is a side-by-side update, so after installing, please launch it from the Applications folder as Finale 2014c will still be present as a separate application.
