Hey all! I'm using Finale 2014.5 in Windows 10. I am notating a hymn, but I'd like to have the barlines show up only on the treble and bass staffs, not through the center where I'm typing lyrics. There's got to be an easy way to do this...I'm sure I'm just missing it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Use the Staff Tool to access the group definition of your staves.

Rather than using a grand staff, use two independent staves joined with a brace. The grand staff bracket should be reserved for the instruments that require it: piano, xylophone, etc.
