Can anyone tell me if it is best that I delete my Finale 11 from my iMac before I download Finale 25? I am in the process of downloading Sierra before I purchase.

No need. Many of us have both versions installed without problems. If you used SmartScore Lite to import scans, you will want to leave 2011 installed as 25.1 does not have this functionality.
Not everything in 2011 works in Sierra including Human Playback—others have problems with the template wizards. I would leave the 2011 install alone for now.
If you used to have even older versions of Finale installed, it's not a bad idea to go to your User Account/Library and clean out any installed fonts—there might not be any. Printing and saving to .pdf can sometimes be affected older versions of fonts there.
2011 would not have installed fonts in your User Account unless you moved them, BTW. I'm talking about older versions such as 1998, 2002, 2010 etc.
It makes no difference w/ 25.1 if you move to Sierra before or after you install. Make sure you upgrade today so you can do it for the $99 and take advantage of the savings.
