Oh TYVM. I was afraid to lose access to everything (with  Finale). I did follow your advice (with confidence) and I think it is a far as I can go then in updates...   At first sight, everything works well. I bought a brand new Mac (27") last year just to run Finale and music libraries... And «pouf» , all options went south this week. Crazy how we are under the domination of those companies... I guess I won't make any more system updates !!!!  I also bought Dorico 5 Pro yesterday as they offered an apparently huge rebate for who wants to transfer...  I'll look into that with time and "peace" later...  I'll pray my computer won't die... Still using a 2009 Mac for photography and printing without any problem up to now.... Cheers and Tx again.

The next macOS has been in beta for months. No one is reporting a conflict with Finale. There will be plenty of complaints here if that happens.
