* Windows Finale or Mac Finale? - What version of Finale? - perhaps v27?

* By your words “the T Tool”, do you mean the Text Tool?

* Are you saying that you can enter words in text blocks, but not separate the words with a space bar character?

Please specify the steps you’ve already taken (to solve the problem), so that we can rule out things.

Have you tried

- quitting Finale, and launching Finale again?

- re-booting the computer?

- resetting Finale’s preferences?

- tested a brand new user account?
