It didn't address any improvements in MusicXML Import, however. I'm sure the Dorico boards are quite active right about now.

The Crossgrade price from Finale is still unchanged at $149 and is purchased through your MakeMusic User Account. One thing I noticed is that anyone who purchased D5 on or after March 27, 2025, you are entitled to a free grace period update to Dorico Pro 6—links in the above article. Those who purchased before March 27 use upgrade pricing.

I'm sure I'll upgrade my Dorico 5 license but am not certain if this will get me to actually use it. Many of the Engraving improvements appear at first glance to take more time and that doesn't excite me at all. If this sets me on fire, I have additional Finale licenses to crossgrade—or not. Oh well, we'll see...
