I have tremolos marked in the strings, specifically violas and cellos yet after they are 'finished' the playback does not stop playing all further notes as tremolo. I've had this problem multiple times in other files. This particularly time I have quarter notes with tremolos followed by a 2 note tremolo and then a harmonic, in just the violas. After all of this both instruments, like I have said, continue to playback in tremolo. Solutions?

Are you using the Easy Tremolo plug-in to notate your two-note tremolo?

(I have never experienced this myself.)

Yes I am, but in the past the normal tremolo has been the reason for the continued playback

By "normal tremolo," do you mean the articulation slashes?

Yes. This problem is not new, on the FB Finale group where we all participate in solving problems, this question has been addressed multiple times with no solutions. The same occurs occasionally with pizzicato and muted brass. But I have decided to bring the tremolo issue here.

Have you used the "Submit a request" link at the top of this page to communicate the problem directly with Finale Support? I would really like to know what they say. The link above gives you the ability to attach a score (or portion thereof) to illustrate the problem.
