I’ve been using Finale in Windows for 15+ years. I recently switched from Windows to an iMac (High Sierra 10.13.3). I’d like to get Finale on my iMac to look as it did for me in Windows 10 (see attached). But after searching the tutorials and Finale user manual, I see nothing on what I’m trying to do. I cannot get the main tool palette to appear permanently as one column across the top. I’m trying to drag it per the instructions, but it stays as two lines and does not change. I also want to place the playback controls on a single line beneath the main tool palette. Resizing doesn’t work with the main tool palette or the playback controls. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Yep, that is correct.

Palettes can be fixed in Finale 25 for Windows. Finale palettes float on a Mac.

To my knowledge, there is no workaround for this.
