I am using a Mac laptop and finale 25. I have a song that has 1 verse at tempo 90, while the rest of the song is at 120.  How do I do this?  Also, I created a measure of basic drumset but was unable to copyand paste.  Finally, I am having trouble getting rid of anything that isn't a note or rest, most importantly  repeat signs and fretboard diagrams.

You can set up your tempo expressions to only apply to specific repeats.

If you use the selection tool and double-click on the fretboards or repeats, it should select the proper tool; then, right click on them for editing options.

I’m not sure why you’re having problems with copy and paste, unless there is something in the Filter settings.

Use separate expressions to set the different tempi of your different sections. Expressions have a Playback Tab which will allow you to set tempo.

My sense is that you need to watch some QuickStart videos and work through some of the tutorials to become more familiar with Finale. Some of the questions you are asking ("copy and paste a measure," "erasing items") are really basic questions.

And as we often say, the first ten years are the hardest!
