 I am trying to use the Garritan instrument sounds in my score.

1.   The Bell patch does not play and the glockenspiel patch only plays five notes. How do I get a decent bell sound? 

2.    In addition, halfway through the song, the Chime patch begins sounding. I did not use

the Expression Tool to change the bell patch to chimes so what happened?

Since Bells and Glockenspiel are both transposing instruments, be sure you understand what their written and sounding ranges are.

You should choose the instrument in the Aria Player and see which keys on the illustrated keyboard light up.

You need to check whether you are writing in a concert score or a transposing score and whether Document > Keep Octave Transpositions in Concert Pitch has been checked.

Thanks, but I can't find  Document > Keep Octave Transpositions in Concert Pitch in the Document menu

Sorry, that only started with v25. So Finale 2014.5 would not have the option. I just find that the Glock's two-octave transposition can be confusing when determining range, especially in a concert score.
