I'm using the jazz font default text size and have already placed many rehearsal measure numbers in my score. The marks are too big on the individual parts and they run into other markings, etc.
I know how to edit each measure number one at a time, but is there a way to do a mass edit in order to change the font size from 18 to 12?
It depends on, in what way you have created the Measure Numbers.
If the Measure Numbers are created with the Measure Tool (= as a Measure Number Region):
Document menu > Edit Measure Number Regions…
If the Measure Number is entered as an intelligent rehearsal mark from a custom Expression Category, then edit the font size in the Category Designer:
Document menu > Category Designer…
In the Category Designer, select the category, and change the font size.
If the Measure Number is entered as an intelligent rehearsal mark, then edit the expression’s font size in the Expression Designer.
You probably only have a single, intelligent Measure Number expression, entered in multiple places in your document.
When you have changed the font, all occurrences of that expression will be changed.
If each Measure Number is entered as an individual, “un-intelligent” Measure Number, then you will have to change the expressions one by one.
