 Hi Forum,

I've given names to all the akkolades, but can't remove excess information  in given names - I include picture off the score.

The problem is:

Soprano 1 > Soprano

Soprano solo 2 > Soprano Solo

etc.

I suspect it's derivations from document Setup wizard?

I use Finale 2014.5

Go to the ScoreManager, to the chiclet Instrument List.

 

In the Instrument List, click the Soprano staff to select it.

In the bottom of the Instrument List, de-select Auto-Number Style.
