I've been having this problem forever and it's finally aggravating me enough to ask about it. I'm using Finale 25 with Tapspace VDL 2.5.5 and trying to get reasonably accurate playback of flams on percussion parts (particularly marching percussion). Right now they're waaaay too open. I've seen a number of posts that all seem to suggest changing the grace note duration in the Document Options, but that doesn't seem to do anything with HP on. I've tried it without HP, and it works, but then my rolls, diddles, etc. don't play back. Is there a way to solve this without turning off HP? Is there a way to stop HP from interpreting grace notes differently than your default settings?
