Mac sierra

i imported a tiff file to edit. Some notes are not black but in a different colour. Those I cannot delete when I want to. How come?

If they are red, or sometimes green or blue, that means that they are in a different layer. You have to be in the same layer to edit them. Using the selection tool and double clicking on the note should put you in the correct layer to edit.

 

Are you trying to recognize and edit a scan?

yes, also when I go to the layer the notes are in and delete them new rests appear.
