Might anyone know how I can put in crescendo and decrescendo hairpins, that if I put one under the flute part, the rest of the score would also get a hairpin?
For expressions this is easy: Alt-Shift + up or down arrow keys (Mac). I believe that the easiest way of doing this with hairpins is to set the copy filter for smart shapes attached to beats. Many of us have made macros to automate the selection of different elements in the copy filter, as it's a very powerful tool with many uses.
Might I make a suggestion? Please give your posts descriptive titles which bear relevance to the subject!
