I've just updated to Finale 25 and I'm writing chord diagrams in for my 5th grade dulcimer group. They are used to reading diagrams horizontally, with the nut indicator to the left, not the top (like we read for ukulele or guitar). Is there a way to manually rotate the position of the chord diagram so that my younger students can read it this way?
As far As I Know, the Chord Tool does not have the ability to rotate fretboard diagrams.
Definitely a good idea for a feature request.
Workaround for now:
Use the Shape Designer to create a Horizontal fretboard diagram.
You can duplicate the shape, and edit the duplicates to show different chords.
The shapes can be added to the layout, e. g. with the Expression Tool.
