macOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29) - Finale 25.5.0.259

I'm using the Trial version of Finale 25, and I'm working on a large orchestra piece. I play to hear the piece and every goes fine. The problem happens when I stop the music and play again, that's when it starts to make this low pitch noise, that sounds like a soft bass drum playing 16ths in 120bpm (that's the best way I can think to describe it). It never happened in Finale 2014 before, and it didn't happen with other pieces with less instruments in Finale 25.

The following is what you can see in the ScoreManager window:

It's the first time I see the "Edit Player..." in red under the Sound column, maybe it has something to do with the issue.

I would really appreciate any thought on the matter, thank you all in advance.

Could you be hearing Keyswitch pitches for a VST instrument being channeled through a GM (Softsynth) instrument?

The demo versions of Finale do not include the Garritan Instruments so (even if you already own Garritan instruments) the installation of the demo may not have linked to the VST Aria player.

I’ve never heard of such a thing. The only thing I can think of is that you don’t have access to the Garritan instruments and latest Aria player in the trial version of 25. There may be a conflict. It could also be a sample rate issue resulting in a sub harmonic. No way to tell without being on your machine.
