I just installed Notepad 2012 using wine in Ubuntu Studio linux. I also downloaded and installed (or at least it said it installed) the fonts file. When starting Notepad says it cant run the wizard because it can't find the maestro font. I did a search of the entire hard drive and sure enough there are no ".fan" files. My first assumption is that the directory structure was not as expected by the installer.

Anyone ever deal with this issue? Is it possible to just download the .fan files and place them manually?

Never mind. They were in fact under users/public. I had to juggle permissions (as super user) and copy the config data to my user area.
