When using my Yamaha Clavinova CLP-300 piano and Yamaha UX-16 digital interface to input notes, there is a lag from the time I press a key to the time the sound comes out through Finale.  Plenty of RAM, etc.

This happened once before, then went away somehow.

Hi Keith,

 

Sometimes having a large buffer size can cause a noticeable latency with MIDI input. Try going to MIDI/Audio > Device Setup > Audio Setup and lowering the Buffer Size and see if that helps.
