Can someone jog my grey matter a tad.

I am working on a file that was created in Finale many versions ago, back when most of the settings we're now user didn't exist.  For example, setting an articulation inside slurs.

Once I make that setting, the slur ends jump up an obscene amount, requiring tedious manual adjustment.

Is there a specific setting in Smart Slur Options, or elsewhere, to avoid this?
