MacOS High Sierra. 10.13.6

Finale version: 25/2.0.79

While changing the volume designations for an electric base part in my score I keep getting a metronome clicking sound when I change from Forte to any levels with more volume EG ff, fff, ffff

What can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

Does the sound only occur for that particular electric bass instrument?

What VST are you using to generate the sound?

Thanks, Adrian.  I found that when I changed the type of bass instrument the problem seems to have gone away.  Thanks much for your corrective suggestion.  Best!  John Dale
