I have a book project with facing pages that I had not opened for about four months, and today when I opened the file I noticed right away that two pages (29 and 30) were no longer there. It goes from a title page to the next page which has [Title - 4] at the top; pages [Title - 2] and [Title - 3] are gone. However, the music was not affected, it continued to flow over the next two pages, wrecking my layout. I have title pages with graphics et al set up at roughly every four pages and the music is flowing past and through these pages. I would like to insert two pages (2 & 3) and re-flow the music and keep my running title pages where I have them now. Otherwise I will have to copy and move every text block (title, credit, instrument name, copyright, graphics) from every single title page, and recreate the system layout for those pages (and most of the other pages). I cannot Add Blank Pages because the music will not shift over and fill those two newly inserted pages. If anyone understands what I'm talking about and can help I would sure appreciate it. I am using Finale 25.5.0.259 on an iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6

Thanks Mike, but long story short, I have 263 measures that were originally laid out over six pages and now there are only four pages available before the next tune starts. I can't see where redefining the pages adds the space I need. But I might have just come up with a solution. What I might have to do is split the file at that point into two files, one that ends at page 31 and another that starts at page 32 and goes through to the end. I can add enough space after the first file (page 31) to push it out two more pages and append the second file to the newly repaired first file. Facing pages will be alright too luckily. I will probably give that a go and see what happens.
