Glitch in entering dynamics in V. 25.5

Hi everyone.

I am running V. 25.5 on a Windows 10 laptop. A glitch just started where I can't enter dynamics. I'm able to click the button to try and enter dynamics, but when I double click the note, the file freezes. I have to use the task manager to shut the file down. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the program. No go. Any suggestions or ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

Raymond,

Does this happen in all documents, or just one particular file? If it’s just one, you might try exporting it as an XML, and reimporting it.

If that fails, try regenerating your preference files.

I’ve tried a couple of files with the same result.
