In my old version of Finale (2008), creating new staves was incredibly simple and I make bass TAB from notation with a couple of clicks. Now after the upgrade v25.5 I tried to create a bass TAB stave. I had to go through a lot of hoops and then it would not give me an actual bass TAB, just a guitar TAB (even though bass is selected in the instrument list). I'm so disgruntled that I have paid more to get so much less. I wish I could go back to my previous version. Has anyone overcome this problem and can tell me how to get new staves in the instruments they're supposed to be. OS Windows 10.
