I've used to work on pc and I've always used space+left click to begin playing from the selected measure and there was always a scrolling bar working. Now I've switched to Mac and scrolling bar dissapeared! is there any way to start playing back from specified measure and have scrolling bar working??

Take a look in the Window menu.

 

Is there a check mark next to the menu item “Playback Controls”?

If the Playback Controls are open, then "spacebar+left click" command doesn't work. It works only when playback controls are closed. Have I missed something?

I can not explain why the scrolling bar is missing, when the Playback Controls are closed (by design, or an oversight?).

You will have to ask the folks in MakeMusic’s Tech Support about that.

 

With the Playback Controls open you do get the scrolling bar working, right?

 

In the Mac version you can “start playing back from specified measure and have scrolling bar working”.

But you can not specify the measure in the way you are used to.

 

In the Mac version, to specify the measure, expand the Playback Controls, and use the pane Playback Region.
