I'm working thru several hundred Finale files and reformatting the pages to a publisher's specs.  This means changing the page size and margins for each file.  I tried exporting the Page Format settings via a library file from the template file to a new library and then importing it to the existing Finale file.  It flat out doesn't work!  No page or margin settings are transferred.

Is there another way of doing this?  Copy/Paste is not applicable due to Finale's penchant for ruining text expression assignments between files, among other things, like articulations etc.

How did you check that it does not work?

Did you look at the existing pages in the document?

Did you go to

Document menu > Page Format > Score…

and check whether the settings in Page Format for Score had been changed?

Did you - as a test - create some new pages/staff systems in the document?

Did you try the Page Layout menu command Redefine Pages?

Aha, Redefine Pages.  Now there's a command that I have probably used maybe 3-4 times in all of the 28 years I've been using Finale.  No wonder I overlooked it!  Thanks for the directive Peter.
