Is there a way to put several shorts in one document without making a new page and without adding measures and making it all run together? I would like to be able to title each movement as well.
If I understand you correctly, you need to create a Finale document of only one single page, with several short movements on that page, right?
And in playback you need to get only the movement measures, right?
1) You can add the movement titles with the Expression Tool, or with the Text Tool.
2) With the Page Layout Tool you can adjust the distance between the movements, to make room for a movement title.
3) At the end measure of a movement, use the Measure Attributes to hide cautionary clefs, key signatures and time signatures.
4) At the beginning measure of the following movement, use the Measure Attributes to make the time signature always show.
