I just got Finale 26. However, if the program is open, no audio will play on the computer. I don't mean that Finale audio won't play. I mean NO audio will play. Using Windows 10.

What audio driver are you using? Start by checking your MIDI/Audio menu > Device Setup > Audio Setup.

I have best results with DirectSound.

If you know your driver, see if it is set to claim exclusive control of your soundcard. I found that initially happened when I used a different driver with Dorico, and I had to reset its parameters.
