Mac OS 10.12.6 (Sierra).  This behaviour began only yesterday.  I play DP score with Finale open on a 2nd monitor so that I can work on both versions of score.  There is a green line in Finale that moves through the bars of the Finale score as DP plays.  It is not in sync with DP and I don't know how to stop this action in Finale except by stopping play in DP.  It is very strange that this has only appeared so recently.  It seems to occur in all my Finale scores.  I wouldn't mind so much if it was in sync with DP, but as it is it really interferes with workflow.  Anyone know what is happening and how to stop it?  Many thanks, jmc

It looks like both programs are synced, maybe using the Rewire protocol, which can be deactivated.

Thanks Michel, ReWire was causing conflict between DP & Finale 25.5.  After perusing MakeMusic online help I found instructions for how to remove ReWire file from my OS.  Finale & DP were both playing when with received Play command, but not in sync.  The way I work with the two platforms is to play midi orchestration with DP and notate the physical score using Finale.  It's slow, but I like the results.  All the best, jmc

I'm not familiar with Rewire, but I think it can be deactivated without removing any file.

ReWire is re-activated anytime you update an app that uses it.
