It’s still in beta for Finale and Dorico. There are three issues with Finale 25 and Windows, one of which may not apply to you (and doesn’t apply to the Mac at all). Another of those issues goes away in 26 while the third is contingent on a feature request from MakeMusic (never a good sign if that feature is important to you).

I was skeptical, as I don't really need it (we have Garritan) and I didn't trust the superlatives in the advertising. I downloaded, tried it and immediately bought it. I don't understand how it's possible to produce something of that quality for so little money (less than €100 in my case). The only problem in Finale is that the playback precedes the cursor, but this doesn't really bother me. It works very well in Dorico. It's easy to install and it lives up to the claims of the makers, It's true that when samples are demonstrated, the examples are usually made in a DAW by experienced users who tweak things endlessly. NotePerformer sounds great without any tweaking whatsoever. I can recommend it highly.
